Pre Installation

  • Co- wash you bundles with a sulfate-free shampoo.

  • Use warm water to wet your bundles.

  • Take a wide tooth comb and comb from end of the hair to the weft.

  • Apply conditioner generously.

  • Sit 15 minutes.

  • Rinse with cool water.

  • Shampoo once, lather hair well. No rubbing roughly.

  • Rinse with warm water.

  • Towel and air dry.

Always avoid using a blow-dryer as you may damage the cuticle by heat damage.

Installation

Never cut any part of the top of the wefts. These wefts are double-stitched and delicate. If they are cut, then we cannot guarantee that they will not shed.  Never sew through the top of the weft. Placing a needle through the weft will damage the wefts and may cause shedding.

SHAMPOOING AND CONDITIONING

We recommend sulfate free shampoo and protein free conditioners for longevity any care product that contains protein should be used in moderation.

Conditioning the hair is vital to its Routine Maintenance. However, it is possible to over condition the hair. Some signs that the hair is over-conditioned are brittleness and tangling. If this does occur, your best resource is to use a deep-cleansing or clarifying shampoo.

If you must use hair spray or other styling products, try to avoid those containing alcohol. (Alcohol can be very drying to the hair.) Styling products create build up on the hair and it is recommended that a deep cleansing shampoo be used once or twice a month to remove build-up. Build-up can make the hair dry and can cause tangling. Use moisturizers to avoid this problem.

If you must use heat, be sure you use a heat protectant first.

HELPFUL TIPS

Although our hair extensions are real, they are no longer receiving nutrients from the scalp like your own hair. Heat will be your hair extensions biggest enemy. The more you use on it, the shorter the life span of your hair. We cannot guarantee that the hair will remain silky if you use the blow dry, flat iron, or curling iron excessively without protecting the hair cuticle.

At bedtime, we highly recommend that you control the hair --braid, wrap or ponytail your hair together to prevent tangling. This will save time that would be spent untangling the hair the next morning.

When shampooing the hair, always shampoo it stroking in a downward motion. Use your fingers in a horizontal motion between wefts to clean your scalp. When rinsing, do the same to be sure that all the shampoo and conditioner residues are shampooed out. Always rinse for 5 to 10 minutes depending on length of hair.

Before bedtime, wrap your hair or braid your hair into one loose large braid at the back of the neck.

After waking, unravel your braid and comb through beginning at the ends and working your way up to roots. This will cause a wavy effect. To avoid putting too much heat on your hair use flexi rods at night to help maintain curls and waves.
